It is a beautiful, clear morning -
the sun is slowly rising and peeking
out from behind the majestic Andes
mountains. It has been such a
privilege to wake to this
picturesque view each morning these
past two years. We look forward to
the new morning scenery that the
Lord will bless us with in the days
to come.
Thank you for your continued
prayers. After packing up and
sharing many garbage bags full of
clothes, children's art/school
supplies, books, and toys, we are
down to preparing our carry-on bags
and final pieces of check-in
luggage. Our flight leaves tonight
from Santiago at 10:40pm (8:40 ET)
and lands in Atlanta in the early
morning hours. From there we head to
New York City and then to Buffalo,
arriving in the mid-afternoon, Lord
willing. Please continue to pray for
us and with us in regard to our
health, safety, and patience.
Our dear neighbors and church
friends have blessed us with many
sweet words, gifts, hugs, and
prayers. It has been a beautiful yet
draining week of "until we meet
again" moments.
